The first few minutes after birth was so magical, it has been called the “Golden Hour”. Transition time for a newborn, moving from an environment that was perfectly controlled for them for nine months.

Thinking of this day when my daughter arrived, seeing her was one of blissful admiration. It was the most definitely magical and surreal golden hour of my life. My whole world stopped for a while.

my nurse said “ Here is your princess, she is here now!” and carefully placed her on my chest for the first time, my hands were shaking and I held her. The second I laid my eyes on my baby girl, I was amazed and couldn’t believe she came out of me puffy and swollen.

As a brand new mom, was I Terrified? Definitely yes!

It was truly a life-changing moment, I felt a sense of responsibility and pure joy. She filled my heart with so much happiness, we couldn’t take our eyes off each other, counting tiny fingers and toes, gazing into her eyes, calling her by her name felt so unbelievably miraculous!
