A journey that made me weak, yet made me strong. One year ago I signed up for a non-refundable program called #motherhood and that came with #breastfeeding as part of the bundles.
Little do I know it’s one of the toughest things that I’ve ever done in my life. Countless block ducts, leading to a sudden dip in supply were enough to make me go crazy.
Verge of giving up, I got all the support from other mommies and my best pal even helped me to feed Aleia with her liquid gold. Touched beyond! And soon after, I joined the mix feed program.
Ditched the pump and the latching game started. Fast forward a year later. I’m still latching Aleia every night. Tiring but rewarding and I will not trade anything for it. This is gonna be the best gift I could give her. In return, thank you for allowing me to eat 500 extra calories worth of Oreos and durians, Aleia! Mama loves you to the moon and back ❤️💛💚”.
