“A new chapter of our life is beginning! Our Family grows by One” She’s finally here and as much as I will miss her being so close to me physically, I’m glad that she’s out to see the world!

In the first trimester, I was constantly worried and wondering if she was okay until we visit the doctor.

In the second trimester, our worries were eased when she started kicking to let us know that she’s alright, that she’s a strong warrior.

In the third trimester, you would kick or move when we touched you and that’s how I get relived that you’re okay.

After a long-awaited journey of 9 months, the time had finally come to hold you in my arm. I came to the delivery ward when I was already 7cm dilated. I remember the nurse saying, ” you still can smile ah”? when I was already 8cm dilated. That’s how mild the pain was because I had cramps worse than this. I could barely feel the contractions. I was tired and out of it so much so that my lazy ass almost didn’t want to grab my legs and push and only did a half-assed job of pushing most of the time. They has to put me on oxygen because the baby’s heart rate was dropping lower as I was taking a little too long to push her out. I was so scared and worried whenever the monitors made a sound, but my husband kept assuring me that she’s fine and to keep doing my best to push you out. The nurses eventually had to put my legs down and massage me to help me relax when my body wanted to start pushing on its own because my gynea hadn’t arrived yet.

I was so freaking tired from pushing and almost wanted to give up. I kept my eyes closed all the time and didn’t dare to open my eyes otherwise I might stop pushing. But the next thing I know, my body already started taking over and pushing on its own. And then I gathered all my energy and tried it for one last time. Then, there she was with beautiful eyes staring at me and my husband.

It was definitely much easier to care for her when she was in me but I always worry over every small change lol! Now, whenever I look at her face, she just reminds me that everything is worth it .”
