Community Guidelines
As we continue to ensure that Momity is safe and remains a secured platform for woman to connect among themselves and also engage in a fun and meaningful conversation. These community guidelines are here to help us understand what is mean to be part of our closed-knit community. (If you are using Momity, then we will assume that you are alright with these guidelines.)
For a better Momity Community,
1. Be caring
We care and respect about our women community, and you should too. Being polite and respectful to one another opinion or suggestion.
2. Build trust
The more we know about our community (and ourselves), the better we can serve you! We would encourage you to provide reviews for the sellers or service provider, let them know what you like or dislike. This is the best way we can help each other to build a trusted women community.
3. Don’t be creepy
Do not make an inappropriate requests or remarks that will make another person uncomfortable. Again, let’s all try to be nice to one another.
4. Rude or abusive behaviour
We value respect on Momity and encourage all the users to approach each other with no judgment especially when disagreeing with one another. We can all have different opinions! If you’re ever concerned or worried about something someone has said, we urge that you report them immediately and contact our team.
5. Don’t spam
Spamming out messages in chats or group section is not allowed. Don’t be fake. Be real instead. Don’t use Momity to drive people to external websites via a link or otherwise.
6. Self-promotion
Momity is a place to connect with shops nearby, gain knowledge, find support, and support others. We don’t allow promoting your social media accounts (including Instagram, Facebook, Facebook Groups, or YouTube channel) on the platform, please don’t use Momity to promote it.
7. Commercial events
Any and every event posted or mentioned on Momity should be accessible to all women in the community. We ensure this by only allowing free/reasonably priced events to be promoted, we love it when women on Momity get together so please always make sure that they’re accessible before posting.
8. Explicit or inappropriate posts
We reserve the right to remove overly graphic descriptions and inappropriate contents for our platform. Anyone generating content which supports racism, sexual orientation, hatred against users or groups will be permanently banned from Momity and offending content immediately removed.
9. Hate speech
Momity is anti-hate and anti-racist. We have a zero-tolerance policy for any content which supports racism, bigotry, hatred against users or groups based on factors including but not limited to race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, disability, gender or age. Anyone generating content of this nature will be permanently banned from Momity and offending content immediately removed.
10. Keep all deals within Momity
The use of any apps created by anyone other than Momity that claim to offer our service or unlock special Momity features is not allowed. Refrain from diverting your buyers to transact on any other platform.
11. Choose an appropriate username
Don’t call yourself something that sounds weird when it’s said out loud. You never know who could be reading it.
12. Don’t name and shame
You might find yourself wanting to post a screenshot of the offending account on your profile to blacklist them. However, that might not be the best way to resolve a problem. Don’t single out users like this on Momity as it could be seen as harassment and thus violates our guidelines.
13. Illegal Usage
Don’t use Momity to do anything illegal. If it’s illegal URL, it’s illegal on Momity.
14. One Person, One Account
Momity accounts cannot have multiple owners, so don’t create an account with your friend or significant other. Additionally, please don’t maintain multiple Momity accounts.
15. Private Information
Don’t publicly broadcast any private information, yours or anyone else’s. This includes identification numbers, passports, passwords, financial information or unlisted contact information, such as phone numbers, email addresses, home/work address.
